MILANO, PORTA ROMANA – 3 ROOMS APT.

  • Complete renovation
  • Design area: 85 sqm
  • Year: 2022

“When you buy a house to renovate, you already know the time and effort dedication it will take. Thanks to Rosa, this path towards our ideal home was linear and enjoyable, with results above all expectations! Research and attention to detail, within a holistic project built for us and with us, have allowed us to obtain perfect stylistic continuity between all the elements. Rosa followed us in a systematic and structured way, assisting us in all our choices with interesting ideas and technical awareness. Professionalism, time management and precision, as well as empathy and the ability to stimulate our imagination, fully respecting our decisions, are the aspects we appreciated the most and that allowed us to live this renovation experience to the best.”

The project, starting from a detailed analysis of building the structure and plants,  and systems of the building, reverses the apartment’s previous layout leading to the best exploitation of views and perspectives. From the entrance the view points to the bright living area, framed by a minimalist-style glass door, and an open kitchen with an integrated dining table, separated from the first by a partial wooden slats filter. The plasterboard ceiling is properly studied to merge these two areas in a unified environment and to integrate lighting and air conditioning ducts. The light beige colour, used for both kitchen structure and walls, creates a sober atmosphere making every element become integrated and not overwhelming on the others. The living room leads to the sleeping area, separated by the same glass door that divides it from the entrance, consisting of a large bathroom and a bedroom. On the entrance side, provided with a built-in wardrobe, it is possible to access to the study area, equipped with an independent bathroom and an additional storage and laundry area, which complete an apartment exploited in every single space. The choice of materials combines typical elements of the Milanese tradition, such as the herringbone oak parquet and the wooden white windows, with minimalist and slightly industrial components, such as the black metal bookcase, the lamps and the large glass doors with thin profile, giving this apartment a contemporary character with elegant taste.
